Went to the Brittania for special occasion meal , firstly the portions have reduced eg garlic bread is more like a crouton! , used to be a lovely slice of sour bread , and maybe 8 chips each! all meals came out dry and burnt , made waitress aware and waited approx half hour for 2 of the meals to be replaced , quality of all the food seems to of gone down , I really hope this was a one off as usually it as been very good , the manager was made aware of our problems and apologised , shame as it spoilt a very special occasion meal

Mo and Sam were excellent servers and this is the second time we have visited The Britannia while here on business. The food as tasty and well presented - I recommend the sea bass and the pork belly especially!

Great location for a group lunch (13) from the office!
Location is so convenient, and its lovely by the river if you want some time outside.
Pre-ordering the food worked amazingly, we were shown to our seats, drink order was taken and the food arrived to our table almost immediately.
Food all lovely, lots of empty plates. Would definitely recommend!

Food was shocking, over priced and bland. We waited over an hour for our food order to be served, i would have expected a speedier service as the pub was far from busy.
The staff were not very attentive and kind of floated around aimlessly but there was one member of staff (Sam)who was the best part of the experience very polite and chatty it was a shame he went on break shortly after we arrived.

The only thing that stopped complaining to the manager was Sam he was excellent and paid special attention to my 4yr old son, he is a credit to a very poor establishment

Popped in for dinner and had not booked a table, forgetting it was half term week and so most tables were booked but one table left in the bar area so that was perfect. Service was great, smiles from staff even though it was busy and food was delicious. I made a mistake and ordered the wrong drink but this was sorted out by the staff so highly recommend this pub, staff, food and atmosphere 👌

Sam and Alex were brilliant! Smooth service just a little moving from breakfast to lunch however very helpful staff - highly recommend.

Came in with a friend for food and catch up.
Even though it was very busy, was a great atmosphere and the staff were warm and welcoming as always.
It's what's to be expected of the Brit.
